Jennifer R. Diaz, Esq. is a seasoned matrimonial and family law attorney with 25 years of experience guiding clients through some of the most challenging moments of their lives. Her practice encompasses the full spectrum of family law matters, including divorce, child custody and support, spousal maintenance, equitable distribution, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, stepparent adoptions, name change petitions, and complex marital dissolution proceedings.

Ms. Diaz began her legal career at Crecca & Blair in September 1998, where she developed a strong foundation in family law practice. She continued to build her expertise at Tabat, Cohen & Blum from 2002 to 2005, sharpening her skills in negotiation and litigation on behalf of clients facing difficult domestic relations issues.

From February 2005 through December 2022, Ms. Diaz served Of Counsel to the Law Office of Joy E. Jorgenson, where she provided sophisticated legal counsel and represented clients in high-stakes matrimonial matters. She brought her considerable experience to Heilig Branigan LLP from late 2022 - 2026, further expanding her practice and deepening her reputation as a trusted advocate in family law circles.

In August 2026, Ms. Diaz joined the Montefusco Law Group, where she continues to bring her wealth of experience, compassion, and strategic insight to clients navigating family law disputes.

Ms. Diaz earned her Juris Doctor from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center and her Bachelor of Science from Stony Brook University. Her academic training, combined with a quarter-century of hands-on courtroom and negotiation experience, has equipped her with the judgment and skill necessary to handle even the most complex family law matters with confidence and care.

Outside of the office, Jennifer is an enthusiastic traveler with a special love for Disney World, where she recharges among the magic and makes lasting memories. At home, she is a devoted wife, mother, and cat mom who cherishes quiet evenings with her family.
