ATTORNEY PROFILE

 

Robert H. Montefusco graduated Cum Laude from Touro Law School in 1997.  He was a recipient of the American Excellence Award for Family Law and Evidence, and was a member on the Dean's List and Law Review. Mr. Montefusco is a former prosecutor for the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office.

Mr. Montefusco concentrates his practice in Matrimonial/Family law and criminal defense.  He is a very experienced and determined trial attorney, having conducted hundreds of trials and/or hearings. 

Mr. Montefusco augments his education by routinely attending Continuing Legal Education seminars on the latest updates and trends in the law. 

Mr. Montefusco has been a guest lecturer at Touro Law Center relating to issues of criminal procedure and practice and has been featured in Touro’s recruiting literature. 

Mr. Montefusco has appeared on News12 and been quoted in various newspapers. 

Mr. Montefusco is admitted to practice in New York and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
